Digital Cameras and SLR's work great in Costa Rica, all these photos were taken with a digital camera, but it is also a good idea to bring a disposable camera with you. You don't want the worry of getting sand and water in your expensive camera, and you can enjoy your swim without staring at your beach bag, when you should be ducking waves.

It's best not to load your film before you come to Costa Rica, airport x-ray machines can easily ruin your vacation photos, hand your film to one of inspectors before you go through security.
